I started walking Archer- his name at the shelter- as a volunteer in 2009. Every week, three times a week he and I would go out. Not many volunteers would walk him because he was a lovable handful. I tried to adopt him but one of my female dogs wanted no part of a male dog. I was going to try to socialize them again about a month later, but another family came in and adopted him before another meeting could happen. A year and a half later we got our second chance. What a love story!!
Thank you for not giving up on me, for loving me and continuing to check and see if I was back at the shelter and for making that second stay a VERY brief visit for me. I have my issues, but thank you for your patience and for giving me a good home with two sisters to play with and a great spot on the bed where I know I will never be without you again!
