We fostered Emma since we did not have any dogs and the SPCA did not have her vaccination records. My wife, Sally, did not want a dog, too much trouble and time. "I will help her out for the 10 day foster period only!" I was told. After a week, what at first was an unattractive mutt started to grow on Sally. By the time the 10 days were up, it was love. We have had Emma for 2 1/2 years now and she is the best dog we have ever known - Sally goes nowhere without her!

My mom and dad take me everywhere! Sometimes I am exhausted, especially when they take me in the boat and let me play with other dogs in the river. I can't get out of bed the next day!
