Sammy Jo lost her first owner to a heart attack and found herself in a shelter after 5 years in a loving home. She stole my heart the first time I saw her bright, blue eyes and her silly, floppy ears. She sat on my foot and rolled over for a belly rub, and we've been inseparable ever since. Sammy is playful and friendly, and she loves to cuddle in my lap after a long walk. She learned the rules of the house quickly (and that she can bend them quite a bit). I'm very happy to have her!
I'm so glad that Mom brought me home from the shelter! She gives me lots of attention, and if she gets distracted by the TV or computer, I just stick my nose under her hand until she starts petting me again (she doesn't mind). We go for lots of long walks and play with a million toys, but I think my favorite is when she lets me take a nap on her lap on the couch after a long day of chasing tennis balls and running in the park. And if I'm cute enough, she may even give me a treat - aw, who am I kidding, she ALWAYS gives me a treat. I love my new home!
