Lucky was rescued from a hoarder where he was kept outdoors 24/7 on a short chain. We met her at her foster home and she was so terrified that we couldn’t get near her for the entire 3 hours we were there. My partner announced that we had to have this dog, so we adopted her. It took a lot of work to gain her trust but she is the most special dog imaginable. Smart, gentle, beautiful. An old soul. It’s been a 12-year journey now with her and worth every single minute.

She would probably say that we are patient and kind and that we've given her a good and enjoyable life.
