Sammy spent the first four years of his life with over 170 dogs as part of an animal hoarding case. Sammy was very shy as he'd never been exposed to people. After nine months with MHS, he was featured on their "Angel Pets" flier and I just had to go meet him. I fostered Sammy to help with his social skills and needless to say, I fell in love with him. He and his doggie brother (also a rescue) love to play chase. Sammy is so sweet. I love the feel of his soft fur and his whiskers when he gives me kisses!

I think he'd say, "I'm so glad to have a mommy now who gives me kisses and hugs and attention. She brushes me and plays with me and takes me for long walks. I never knew what you humans were capable of before, but now that I do, I"m never gonna let my mommy go!"
