After adopting Greta It became quite apparent she was a bit of a country girl. It took us 45 minutes to lure her into the car the first time. She was startled or curious about such mundane things as the toilet and the coffee maker. What she lacked in experience, she more than made up for in gentleness and kindness. Any time we squeak one of her toys, she gently but firmly takes it away and curls her body around it so we cannot hurt the “baby." She has some other funny quirks such as snapping her jaw when she is excited or happy. After a year she has really settled into our lives and happily rides in the car like the Pope in the Popemobile. She is a favorite at my husband’s office and spends at least one day a week there. She is a loving, gentle giant and we are truly blessed to have her.
