Why Scout is so special:

Scout is an affectionate, energetic, and playful cattle dog that we adopted from the City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department. He is a fun and likable companion because he shows his affection so freely. Scout gets along with our family members and our other dogs and is great at playing fetch and chasing his toys in the yard. But best of all, he is helping us keep in shape—Scout is a great hiking dog. Eager to please and wagging his white-tipped tail, Scout always keeps us entertained.

If your pet could talk, what would he or she tell us about you?:

Scout: "My family is the greatest. We love to ride in the truck with my two doggie brothers. We go out to the park and I get to chase balls, play frisbee, and sniff lots of interesting smells. I go hiking with mom and dad in the foothills and we stay in excellent shape. I love to give my mom and dad big doggie hugs because they always hug back. I love my family very much!"
